SUSTAINABILITY/PRODUCTION
BENJAMIN ROBIN is an ongoing practice in considered production.
As an independent studio, we work with a slower model, producing many pieces to order and in small, limited runs. This approach allows us to reduce excess stock as we grow, avoiding unnecessary waste while maintaining a close relationship to each garment.
Alongside this, selected pieces are produced in short runs, ensuring that production remains controlled and intentional.
MATERIALS:
We prioritise responsible sourcing wherever possible.
Fabrics are selected for both their quality and their impact, with the use of organic cottons, recycled polyesters, and dead-stock materials, including leather. By working with existing resources, we aim to extend the life of materials that would otherwise go unused.
PRODUCTION:
All pieces are developed and produced in London, either within our studio or in collaboration with UK-based manufacturers.
Keeping production local allows for a closer dialogue with the making process, ensuring quality, transparency, and fair working conditions.
APPROACH:
We are continuously refining our processes as the brand evolves.
Rather than positioning sustainability as a fixed claim, we see it as an ongoing commitment, one that informs how we design, source, and produce each collection.
